Joining the DuPont Cromalin A series, on which the colourspace is defined, are Creos Iris and Veris and DuPonts Cromalin b series.
Agfas Grand Sherpa and Kodak Polychrome Graphics Matchprint Inkjet are expected to join the approved list soon.
This is really excellent news, said IPC production director Debbie Read, who chairs the PPAs pass4press committee. Its been a long process so far but a very worthwhile one. This opens up the market so that a wider range of proofing vendors can supply contract proofs to a given standard for magazine.
Links to the website of the supplier of the proof4press verifier software and control strips Laurie Mullaney Associates will be added to the pass4press website soon.
