Nationwide Mailing has been launched by Louise Cooper, Mark Speechley and Gary Bates. All were previously at Pims National, which was bought by Corporate Mailing Matters earlier this month. All three had left the firm before the takeover.

"We offer a more consultative sell to customers," said Cooper, who takes on the role of sales and marketing director. "We all have around 40 years' experience in the industry, which I believe gives us an edge in this market."

The firm has already installed a black and white Xerox 4110 alongside a CMC polywrapper. According to Cooper, Nationwide Mailing has invested heavily in front end software on the Xerox.

"In mid-February we are set to install a CMC inserter," she added.
At Pims National, Cooper was sales and group marketing director while Speechley was warehouse manager and Bates was production manager.

At Nationwide Mailing Speechley becomes commercial and purchasing director while Bates' role will be operations director.
"We decided to set up the business because we felt we had a lot to offer in the direct mail sector," added Cooper.
