Duplo refreshes friction collator range

Finishing manufacturer Duplo has launched two new friction collators, retiring their predecessors at the same time.

The company will no longer sell the DFC-10 and DFC-12 machines, instead offering its customers the DFC-100 and DFC-120 collators.

New features included in the updated machines are a ceramic roller, a new control panel with status indicator and a deeper stacker.

Other features include the ability to run offset or straight collate mode and an automatic stop when the catch tray is full.

Duplo's DFC series are available in 10, 12, 20 or 24 station configurations with an output speed of up to 4,200 sets per hour or 2,400 sets per hour when used in conjunction with a bookletmaking system.

The company recommends that the collators are used in conjunction with a DBM-120 bookletmaker & DBM-120T trimmer, the Duplo mini friction collating and bookletmaking system.

Peter Jolly, UK marketing manager, said: "We are constantly looking for ways to improve our products. With the extra features, the new collators will ensure even greater production levels and easier set-up.

"Most of our customers challenge us to help them save time; the new DFC-100 & 120 will certainly enable them to do so."
