The product allows the online ordering of print and can create jobs, update template data and order work from the printer's digital production facility. This can be done via Xralle's server which produces print-ready PDF and XML files.
"This helps printers to get away from quoting the cheapest price for a job," said Danwood director Gerry Mulvaney. "We're offering Xralle because of increased demand from customers."
Mulvaney added that Danwood linked up with Xralle because "we felt it was the market leader".
Xralle can be integrated with online asset digital management systems allowing access to logos, special fonts and image files. The start-up system costs 6,000.
Meanwhile, Danwood is also to distribute Konica Minolta's full-colour, 50ppm LD-5100. The digital printer is built around Konica Minolta's C500 engine but differs on the RIP, which has been designed specifically for the LD-5100 by the manufacturer.
