He is being replaced by Creo Europe vice president of sales and marketing Israel Sandler.
Sandler joined Creo Europe last summer from Creos Israeli-based PCB equipment division TDI Systems. His appointment followed disappointing sales in Europe (PrintWeek, 15 August 2002).
Lumbroso cited family reasons for the return to Israel and told PrintWeek he hadnt decided yet whether he would continue to work for Creo once back in Israel or move on.
I havent made a decision whether to stay with Creo or not, he said. Ive been out of Israel for eight years and have kids that need to get some Israeli roots.
Lumbroso moved to the European top spot from heading up Scitex operations in Asia Pacific at Drupa 2000, when he replaced David Ofek.
