Creo Europes vice president of sales and marketing, Israel Sandler, replaces him.
Sandler joined Creo Europe last summer from TDI Systems, Creos Israel-based PCB equipment division. His appointment followed disappointing sales in Europe (PrintWeek, 15 August 2002).
Lumbroso cited family reasons for the return to Israel and told PrintWeek he hadnt decided yet whether he would continue to work for Creo once back in Israel or move on.
Ive been out of Israel for eight years and have kids that need to get some Israeli roots, he said.
Lumbroso moved to the European top spot at Drupa 2000 after heading up Scitex operations in Asia Pacific.
