Herzlias 1,000 staff could move in two to three years. A Creo spokeswoman said: We believe that this will reduce costs in the long term.
Herzlia manufactures Lotem platesetters, Dolev imagesetters, iQsmart and EverSmart scanners, Leaf digital camera backs, Brisque and PS/M workflows and Spire colour servers. It also makes the engines for the KBA Karat 74 digital press.
The move will not impact on Creos manufacturing operations in Canada.
