Creditors give nod to CVA for RW Embossers

Creditors of Robert Williams Embossers and Coaters have passed a vote for the firm to enter into a Creditors Voluntary Agreement (CVA).

Michael Solomons, a partner with insolvency practitioners SPW Poppleton & Appleby, has been appointed as supervisor of the CVA.
A statement of the significant creditors of the company shows that the firm owed around 207,000.

Of this, the Inland Revenue is owed just over 158,000, and HM Customs & Excise in excess of 27,000.

Other creditors include the Royal Bank of Scotland, which is owed 16,000 and M6 Papers, owed 3,236.

One employee of the Tilbury-based firm is Conrad Stapleton, who was declared bankrupt in March last year, and entered into an individual voluntary arrangement in May 2003.
