Creative Print & Design 'frustrated' by sale delay

The administrator for Welsh printer T Harding and Son, which traded as Creative Print and Design (CP&D), has said that he is ready to sign over the company, as soon as the Welsh Assembly Government (WAG) gives a deal the go-ahead.

Despite going into administration on 23 December and being shut down, CP&D is still subject to a purchase by an unknown buyer.

The buyer has claimed that it can still make something of the business, despite it not trading for the last three months.

But, the deal is subject to the WAG providing funding for the deal, which currently owns the land that the mothballed company is based at.

Administrator Keith Morgan told PrintWeek: "The bid is still there, we are still in talks with them, and it is still frustrating. If someone said that the funds have been signed over today, we could sign a deal tomorrow."

Morgan added that there was still no timeline for a sale.
