The Gwent-based company, which trades as Creative Print and Design, was placed in administration on 23 December with insolvency practitioner PKF, who said that it expected a sale by the end of January.
However, an anonymous would-be buyer plans to acquire the company using funding from the WAG and Finance Wales (FW), which has slowed down the deal.
Administrator Keith Morgan said: “The funding package is not yet in place, I haven’t even had an offer yet. If this was a normal deal it would have happened by now but anything to do with government means the wheels grind slowly.
“I have had a conversation with both [WAG and FW] and we are pushing them to hurry up. I am still optimistic that the deal will take place.”
Creative Print and Design sale slowed by Welsh Assembly Government
