T Harding and Son went into administration with insolvency practitioner PKF on December 23 last year.
Despite all the staff leaving before Christmas, and it being more than three months since the administration began, administrator Keith Morgan has been positive about a sale of the business.
However, a potential deal to sell the business to an unnamed buyer has been held up because it is attempting to get funding from the Welsh Assembly Government.
Morgan told PrintWeek: "It would usually be the buyer chasing up, but I am the one making the calls and doing the chasing. It has gone quiet, they are not chasing updates at all. I think it may be drifting away."
Administrator fears CP&D sale may be 'drifting away'
The administrator for Welsh printer T Harding & Son, which traded as Creative Print & Design (CP&D), has hinted that a deal to sell the business may be on the verge of collapse.
