Speakers at the seminars include representatives from Heidelberg, MAN Roland, PrintCafe, EFI, Hewlett-Packard, GMI and the Print on Demand Initiative (PODi), together with CIP4 chief executive Martin Bailey.
The first seminar, "What is CIP4s JDF and how can it help my print workflow?", aims to answer questions about the practical benefits of JDF to companies.
A second seminar, "What types of business opportunities does JDF enable for vendors and consultants?", will outline the opportunities and responsibilities associated with the implementation of JDF.
The final seminar, "A technical introduction to JDF", will provide an overview of the update from version 1.0 to 1.1. Other topics will include an introduction to device capability modelling and information on an update to Personalised Print Mark-up Language (PPML) incorporating JDF support.
Seminars will be free.
