CIP4 publishes free JDF reference

The International Cooperation for the Integration of the Processes in Prepress, Press and Postpress (CIP4) has published the Spring 2011 edition of the JDF Marketplace.

JDF Marketplace, which is available from the CIP4 website, is a directory of products that support JDF and PrintTalk, as well as related services such as integration support and consulting services.

The current edition runs to 162 pages and includes 151 detailed product and service listings for JDF-enabled products for all phases of print production, from customer-facing systems through MIS, prepress, press and postpress.

CIP4 education and marketing officer Tim Daisy, of Prism, said: "For printers looking to integrate systems and manage an automation program, this is a 'must have' reference. It is one of our most popular downloads from the website."

Listings in the biannual publication are free to CIP4 members and are submitted voluntarily. In addition to basic listings, the JDF Marketplace includes JDF/integration support hotline information for many manufacturers, as well as a short, plain-English introduction to JDF.
