The vendor’s 440sqm stand will feature the Océ Arizona 480GT UV flatbed printer, which can print at speeds of up to 32.8sqm per hour, features eight independent ink channels including varnish, double opacity white and two additional cyan and magenta channels.
It will be exhibited alongside the Océ Colourwave 900 and 650 as well as the Océ Procut digital flatbed cutter and the Canon Imageprograf iPF9400. Also on its stand Canon will be showcasing applications including bespoke printed wallpaper and laminated flooring produced using its devices.
"The wide format market is one sector of the printing industry that is continuing to expand because of the growing number and variety of exciting applications that can be realised on wide format digital printers,” stated wide format group director of Canon UK & Ireland, Duncan Smith.
"We want to help our customers to become exceptional service providers, so I'd invite them to come and find inspiration on the Canon stand - they won't be disappointed."
The vendor will also have a presence in the Digital Conference Theatre on Thursday 22 May at 3pm when Canon customer Sanders Group will present its experience of wide format printing.
The Munich Messe exhibition is set to be Fespa’s biggest digital event yet, chief executive Neil Felton told PrintWeek last month.
According to Felton the event is 2,000sqm bigger than the largest digital event to date, which was held in Hamburg in 2011 and had a net footprint of 18,000sqm.
