However, the Birmingham-based company has seen so much growth in the past year – its turnover has gone from £2.5m in the last financial year to an estimated £4.5m this year – that it has changed plans and will also keep its existing site.
Fosco's new factory, just over half a mile away from its current site, opened last month and both the new FB7500 and the company's existing one will be installed at the facility over the coming months.
Business development manager Andrew Alia said: "Our flatbed machines will be moved over there slowly, but it looks like we are going to keep the existing site for our range of reel-fed presses
"It wasn't supposed to be like that, we planned to close the old site down and move everything across. But things have moved faster than expected and it looks like we are going to need all of the space."
The past six months has also seen Fosco employ an additional five staff, taking its number to 30.
As well as the machinery install, last month also saw Fosco celebrating achieving both ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certification.
A new customer had asked the company to work towards the certifications when it came on board and Fosco achieved them in five months.
Alia added: "We were told to schedule for 18 months, but we had two customers whose work we could have lost so we just got on with it. It opens the door for us as well, you get blue-chip companies that won't even entertain you unless you are accredited."
