The Birmingham-based business has opted for the flatbed printer, in addition to investing in adjacent factory space, which takes the total size of its production facility up to 1,870sqm.
According to managing director David Nicholas, the reason the company opted for the FB7500 was because of its "quality, speed and flexibility".
He said: "Clients expect high quality and fast turnarounds these days and there is normally a trade-off between these two desires. However, with the FB7500 you get both high quality and speed."
The efficiency boost offered by the machine, which is capabale of 500sqm an hour, has enabled the 22-staff business to significantly cut production time on certain jobs.
"A job that would have previously taken us two days to complete can now be done in as little as two or three hours," Nicholas added.
The HP Scitex FB7500 complements existing machinery at the Hockley facility, including an EFI Vutek QS3200 UV-curing printer, plus other HP wide-format printers.
It will output print for a range of clients, including CBS Outdoor and Aston Villa Football Club.
Nicholas said: "Our new machine has already made it possible for us to pitch for work we wouldn’t have previously considered.
"Clients are particularly impressed with the quality of the FB7500 and its ability to print on such a wide variety of substrates."
