24/7 access for customers

Bakergoodchild launches new SaaS platform

Frankk: clients can reach target audiences “in as little as 24 hours from upload”

Bakergoodchild is poised to go live with a new software platform to simplify production of direct mail jobs.

Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform Frankk officially goes live on Monday (25 November).

Birmingham-based Bakergoodchild said the business had been working on the development of the software since last year, after managing director Bruce Thomson and IT director Roger Basso Brusa noticed that an increasing amount of work involved standard formats.

This inspired them to create an online system that would be quick and simple to use, and allow customers access to the firm’s capabilities 24/7.

Bakergoodchild has recruited Charlotte Smiles as head of sales and marketing for Frankk. She joined the business last month after working for more than six years at online direct mail platform Stannp.com.

Smiles said she was excited about the new offering.

She commented: “I came onboard very impressed with the software they have created and how they have put the user at the forefront of each development.

“Getting a campaign from upload to print in less than one minute is really impressive and proves that mail isn’t outdated and definitely still thriving!”

Bakergoodchild said clients can reach their target audiences “in as little as 24 hours from upload”.

The firm, which employs 48 and is aiming for sales of £13m this year, runs a wide range of in-house equipment for its print, mail, and postal services offering. It upgraded its Ricoh cut sheet digital setup earlier this year.
