Judging was held over four days during the summer for which 24 experts from the fields of print buying and accountancy were drafted in. A record number of entries were received.
The quality of the entries for the 23 categories was high. It was inspirational a reminder of what we should all be trying to achieve, said production consultant Geoff Barlow, from the books and fine art team.
Big name buyers from firms such as Sainsburys, Grattan, Argos, Guardian Newspapers, TimeWarner Books and Time Out formed part of the judging panel.
A shortlist will be published in next weeks PrintWeek (25 September) and at www.printweek.com. The awards ceremony will be held at Le Mridien Grosvenor House on 20 October and tickets are now available.
