Manchester-based Walkers (MCR) called in insolvency practitioners MCR last week following the recent collapse of its major client Woolworths.
Walkers will retain its brand and trade under the name Walkers Instore. Walkers managing director Gary Herrington and sales and production director Mark Davies will retain their positions.
Joint managing director of London-based Augustus Martin, Lascelle Barrow, said: "I am delighted that we have been able to complete the acquisition of such a well-respected name in our industry.
"Augustus Martin has been looking for a base in the north of England for some time."
The company took on 45 staff and does not expect to make any further redundancies. It is understood that around 30 staff were made redundant when MCR was appointed.
