Asia Media Awards for HT Media and Bhaskar

WAN-IFRA, the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers, presented the winners of the 8th Asia Media Awards. The ceremony was hosted for the first time in India.

HT Media bagged six awards at WAN-IFRA’s 8th Asia Media Awards. Its flagship business daily Mint won two gold awards. Mint won a gold in the Best in Special Coverage category for newspapers. The award was bagged for Lounge, Mint’s weekend magazine.

Mint also won a gold in the Best in Print Quality category for newspapers with a circulation of below 1,50,000 copies. Mint currently prints in five locations across India.

Meanwhile Hindustan Times bagged a silver in the best in print quality award for circulation above 1,50,000 copies category.

DB Corp’s Divya Bhaskar bagged a bronze for Best in Quality Award in circulation above 1,50,000 copies category. With 472 entries this year, the 8th edition of Asia Media Awards celebrated the Asian media industry.
