Arjo announces carbonless rise

Arjowiggins has followed Tullis Russell in announcing price hikes, with carbonless paper to increase by 6% in both reels and sheets.

Last week, Tullis Russell was one of the first suppliers to confirm an autumn price rise, while other paper manufacturers were rumoured to be following suit.

In a statement, Arjowiggins said it had “experienced a strong and continuous increase in pulp and other raw material costs since early summer, forcing the company to increase its prices. [It therefore had] to announce a price increase of 6% on carbonless products.”
