Last week, Tullis Russell was one of the first suppliers to confirm an autumn price rise, while other paper manufacturers were rumoured to be following suit.
In a statement, Arjowiggins said it had “experienced a strong and continuous increase in pulp and other raw material costs since early summer, forcing the company to increase its prices. [It therefore had] to announce a price increase of 6% on carbonless products.”
