The paper manufacturer said it had experienced a strong and continuous increase in pulp, transport and energy costs.
Sven Schlobom, Arjowiggins’ carbonless vice president, said: “The price increase has been across Europe and where we sell worldwide.
“We are expecting another price increase this year, but we’re not sure if it will be before or after summer.”
Printers are facing paper price hikes of 2.5%-8% in March and early April.
A fall in capacity following the closures of loss-making mills is also believed to be affecting prices.
