Affinity eyes growth with new employee

Affinity Print Management has recruited a production director as it ramps up its assault on the market.

Gareth Jones (pictured) has joined the firm, which is owned by Richard Evans, the son of Centurion founder Lord Evans of Watford.

Jones was previously with HH Associates and also worked at Astron.
"The kind of uptake we've had meant we needed to appoint someone full-time with production and print management experience," said Richard Evans.

Evans started Affinity last May, three years after Centurion was sold to Communisis for 42m. The Rickmansworth-based company provides print management, design and contract publishing to 20 clients, including Capital Shopping Centres, Von Essen Hotels and the National Deaf Children's Society.

The firm currently employs six staff, but Evans plans to increase that further over the next few months as it picks up new work. He said the firm was currently tendering for work worth up to 25m.
