Adare takes Lloyds contract

Lloyds TSB has handed a contract to Adare Halcyon to print its welcome packs for new customers.

The Huddersfield-based print firm will produce 50,000 packs per month on a rolling deal with the bank. The pieces will incorporate Adare Halcyon's "dry peel" product, which replaces plastic, thermal cards. An A4 letter contains the card, which is personalised with the customer's name and membership details.

"With the dry-peel card the letter and card can be personalised at the same time in one pass," said Adare Halcyon general manager for mailing services Phil Teer. "It removes the need to match the card to the letter."

The packs are sent out when a customer registers for Lloyds TSB's telephone banking service.

Adare Halcyon will produce the packs on a range of equipment at its plant. Kit includes two Muller Martini A52 10-colour presses.
