Active Colour among FSC firsts for Cornwall

Active Colour has been awarded FSC accreditation, which it claims makes it one of the first paper print suppliers in Cornwall to meet the environmental criteria.

The printer joins a growing number of companies achieving what is rapidly becoming a "must have" for competitive print tenders.

Active Colour co-director Andy Hallam said: "Recycled materials from sustainable forests have moved on leaps and bounds within the past few years.

"We are able to match quality, finish and price of [virgin] paper print using recycled papers and vegetable based inks. This keeps our customers happy with quality finishes while also being able to demonstrate their commitment to the environment."

Active Colour supplies stationery, brochures and magazines to companies across Cornwall. Its clients include Fifteen, The Eden Project, Watergate Bay and Islander Magazine.
