The Herefordshire-based company is replacing a Polar 78 with a Polar 92X, which managing director Mike Greene says will also aid handling for employees.
He said: "Work is flying through, but productive presses mean we need good cutting capacity to keep pace.
"With the Polar 92 we will have a deeper cut area and the cutting mechanism is faster than on our existing 78. Because we can cut across the length of the blade we will have to change the knife less frequently, too."
It is the second 92 in the company's arsenal, which Greene believes will give ABC Print increased flexibility.
The company produces work on both litho and digital machines as well as having a wide-format department. It has a host of Heidelberg presses and a Konica Minolta 6501e.
