In her spare time she illustrates and does modern calligraphy for her Etsy store Alan & Freya, and also “spends way too long on instagram” (@linzirachel). She lives with fiancé Tom and loves “all things black, gothic and witchy!”

Why did you get into printing?
After graduating from uni I wanted to get into graphic design and I’m slightly obsessed with printed stationery so it seemed perfect!
Who would play you in a movie about your life?
Katya Zamolodchikova, my favourite drag queen. She’s crazy, hilarious and disgusting. She’s far more beautiful then me though
What is your dream bit of kit?
The Matrix Systems from Vivid which we have recently had installed. I’d also love a desktop letterpress for my greeting cards
What would you most like to print?
I’d love to design and print an invite for an event that’s close to my heart such as LGBTQ+ or vegan awareness
Who or what do you hate the most?
Racism, homophobia, sexism and general hatred for anything or anyone different
Who do you admire most in the industry?
I am very influenced by Morgan and Arley-Rose at Ladyfingers Letterpress in the States. Their company is still reliant on craftsmanship and I love that they still do everything by hand.

I say ‘really!?’ way too much

My favourite book is Sleepers by Lorenzo Carcatera but I am currently reading The Story of Forgetting by Stefan Merrill Block for the third time

I probably sound bad for saying this but I’d probably like to be on my own!
Who or what makes you laugh?
My other half. He’s so funny without even realising
What piece of kit would you like to see invented?
A printer that can do everything – 600gsm, double-sided, scored, folded and throw some gold foil on there too!

A neon yellow and pink shiny lycra catsuit. It was the 90s…

Anything tele: teleportation, telekinesis or telepathy

Where would you go if you could time-travel?
Victorian London. I love the gothicness, and their fascination for all things weird
