Marvin joined the Leicestershire-based company almost at its inception, when it employed just a handful of people. She said: “We would take orders, type out three copies on a typewriter and then pick and pack the kit ourselves. I’ve watched it grow from selling other people’s products to developing our own.”

Busy to the end, she is pictured signing up Vivid’s new Argentinian distributor, Transcopier. 

Bruce Cozens, currently product manager at Vivid, will take over from Marvin in the export role.
