The pay cut was for a six month period and would have affected around 100 staff, according to Unite's national officer Steve Sibbald.
He said: "The 4% pay cut was overwhelmingly rejected, and as a result there is no need for a review date."
Polestar HR director Simon Jones said the company had been consulting with employees on ways it could reduce costs at Chromoworks.
He said: "One option that has been rejected was a temporary reduction in pay.
"The company continues to look at alternative ways in which we can make Chromoworks more cost-efficient, and therefore more competitive in the marketplace."
Jones confirmed that only Polestar Chromoworks was affected.
In September last year, Polestar announced it was to mothball one of its Komori presses at Polestar Chromoworks, with 16 jobs at risk.
Jones said there have been four compulsory redundancies, while the remainder were made up by volunteers and transfers.
