Registration for Fespa Fabric 2013 goes live

Fespa Fabric 2013 has officially opened for bookings as the team behind the annual exhibition and three-yearly flagship show Fespa 2013 hit the airwaves in a YouTube promo.

The 100 second video, which continues the show’s 'destination' theme, stars many of the Fespa team as airline and airport staff. A member of the Fespa cast said: "We all had the opportunity to get into it so most of us did - it was great fun."

Fespa's managing director of exhibitions and events, Neil Felton said: "There are so many exhibitions that have themes that don’t follow through but this event has a clear headline: 'Destination for Print'.

"It is really fitting with London being such an international destination. The show is going to be even more international than it has ever been and we want to make sure we recognise that."

Fespa Fabric 2013, which will run alongside wide format print show Fespa 2013 from 25-29 June, will see over 650 exhibitors showing over a 12,000sqm area at London's ExCel centre.

The specialist garment decoration and textile print event has this year added a new feature to the show in partnership with French firm CCTO.

The Promotional Product Business Academy (PPBA) will present business opportunities in the printed textile market through a range of business case studies and in-depth presentations of the market.

Around 20 companies will showcase a variety of promotional products suitable for branded and personalised print applications. Visitors to the PPBA will also be given a complimentary one-month subscription to europeansourcing.com, an online resource for traders in promotional products.

Other show features will include a garment and textile workshop zone, technical demonstrations, new product launches and a comprehensive conference programme.

Felton added that the combination of Fespa Fabric and Fespa 2013 in London "had the chat forums buzzing".

"I think this is the show they will choose over the others next year. The UK has never had a massive show like Fespa so it is already making a real impact," he added. "From a wide-format perspective we are finding that people are a lot more keen on workflow.

"The software and management of the print process is advancing so quickly and there are new technologies being launched every year. There are going to be some really significant launches at the show."
