Pagination, which was formed in 2009 but rebranded two years ago, has signed up for a 12sqm stand and will also be leading a workshop.
It offers database publishing cloud services to a number of large companies and SMEs, and counts a number of large UK clients on its books. On its stand, employees will discuss its various services and there will be a large banner detailing its Streamline database publishing offering.
This will be Pagination’s first European trade show, having exhibited at two shows in the US in 2016, one in San Diego and one in Washington.
Sales director Luca Reginato said five-staff Pagination made the decision to exhibit a few days ago, after seeing the value proposition of PrintWeekLive! and considering the history of PrintWeek.
“We will be there in order to sell,” said Reginato.
“Most of the time we ask for the problem the potential customers may have and tell them how their processes could be streamlined with our software. If we gain 20 leads we will be happy; with 20 leads there is the conversion to do PrintWeekLive! 2018.”
Pagination’s workshop will be on the standard tools of database publishing, such as Data Merge and XML, and how their limitations can be overcome. It will focus on three key points: creating layouts, using data from any data source or spreadsheet, and merging data and tasks to save time.
Reginato added that the learning aspect of the show was important in Pagination’s decision to sign up.
