“PrintWeekLive! will be a different kind of event and one, I think, that looks like it could create quite a bang in the industry,” said Fujifilm UK managing director Keith Dalton.
“We like the idea of combining an exhibition with industry networking and discussions, in a new model that, let’s be frank, minimises the costs for exhibitors, while at the same time maximising the benefits for visitors.”
Fujifilm has signed for a 42sqm at the show, which takes place next March in the Ericsson Exhibition Halls at the Wasps Arena, Coventry.
“We will be taking some kit, but we’re still finalising the details, so it’s a bit early to talk about that – but we’re also looking forward to hosting a workshop on the changing face of print, and how successful printers are embracing those changes and the new business models,” said Dalton.
PrintWeekLive! is a two-day show that will include an industry leading conference, practical workshop sessions and show floor packed with the latest innovations from the industry’s major manufacturers.
“An industry can either thrive together or die together, so an event where visitors can see the latest technology, network and perhaps learn something new has got to be worth a day out of anyone’s office,” said Dalton.
As well as Fujifilm, confirmed exhibitors also include IFS, IST, Optimus, Plastic Card Services, Premier Paper Group, Renz, Riso, Roland DG, and Route One Print, as well as headline sponsors Antalis, Close Asset Finance, Duplo, Heidelberg, Tharstern and Xerox.
