The system prints and cuts products including transfers, textiles, stickers, labels and posters, up to a width of 480mm. In addition to metallic inks, the VersaSTUDIO BN-20 can also print using ECO-SOL MAX inks or water-based inks in CMYK.
Also new for the show is the VersaUV LEF-12, a desktop UV printer with LED drying that can handle items up to 100mm thick. According to the company, the 1,625mm-wide hybrid printer is suitable for printing and finishing products such as gadgets, gifts and prototypes and is equipped with CMYK, white and clear inks.
Roland is also presenting Eco-UV, a new, flexible UV ink for packaging, signs and 3D displays which is available in cyan, magenta, yellow, black and white.
