The £1m investment at the 132 year-old family run company also includes a Stahlfolder TH56 and a six-station ST100 saddle-stitcher.
Joint managing director of the £1.3m-turnover company Louise Boniface said the choice of press was partly based on fulfilling the increased demand for fast turnaround and maintaining its commitment to sustainability.
She said: "The Anicolor ticks all our boxes. Heidelberg had created just what we were looking for, providing top quality results, increased productivity and greatly reduced waste."
She added that the business has been a litho printer for years, and went into digital a few years ago because the market demanded it.
"We wanted a press that was in-between a digital and litho printer, so the Anicolor was perfect."
Currently around 20% of the company's output is digital, and the four-colour with coater configuration offers a range of different varnishing and coating options, and it will run alongside a Speedmaster SM 74-5 B2 press.
In addition, the Devon-based company is switching from a combination to a buckle folder and from a Muller Martini to a Heidelberg stitching line.
Boniface said the TH56 is "highly automated, and gives us the flexibility and speed of make-ready we require".
The 23-staffed company uses chemistry free plate making and has been printing with vegetable-based bio inks for over 10 years. Its presses are also optimised for low alcohol usage.
