Mistral has a flash point of 62°C and is based on aliphatic hydrocarbons. In addition it’s free of aromatics and has a high ink dissolving performance. Available in 20, 200 or 1,000 litre containers, Mistral is applied to the blanket or roller and then rinsed out with water until all of the ink and cleaning residue is removed. The product is also Fogra approved.

Ipex Preview - Paper and Consumables - Star Product: Bttcher Mistral
This is the first time the product will be in the UK and is a product that has gone down a storm in Germany, according to pressroom consumables specialist Bttcher. Mistral is a cleaning agent for sheetfed press blankets and rollers. The firm says its product is "excellent for removing paper dust" and leaves no residues.
