IML Labels & Systems praises Shuttleworth MIS during bad weather

IML Labels & Systems has lauded Shuttleworth's MIS remote access software after it enabled the company to maintain customer contact during the recent severe weather.

Shaun Higgins, managing director of IML Labels, said the company used the CRM system to monitor and gather customer data that was then used to produce estimates, job sheets and invoices.

He added: "The CRM tool provides IML complete instant traceability of customers' activity, which was especially vital during the recent severe weather.

"Remote access enabled our sales teams to access the CRM system wherever they were based – or even snowed in.

"This helped to ensure our service levels were not interrupted as access via their laptops enabled the team to maintain communication and share information."

IML Labels supplies labels, entry tickets and branding badges for high temperature, steel and chemicals usage across the globe.

Paul Deane, managing director of Shuttleworth business systems, said: "Remote access is an essential component for modern and efficient printers in order for them to meet the increasing requirements from customers for speedy and professional service."
