Fujifilm secures record Ipex sales as JetPress attracts the crowds

Fujifilm has deemed Ipex 2010 a "resounding success", after it secured a record number of sales and leads at the show.

Ryutu Masui, senior vice-president, graphic systems business domain, said: "We are delighted with the results that the Ipex exhibition has brought us. Despite volcanic ash and airline strikes, we saw a record number of visitors to our stand."

The Jet Press 720 proved to be the most popular machine on the company's booth, drawing in large crowds during presentations.

Fuji also demonstrated its complete product offering, with wide-format and Euromedia products alongside workflow, digital and offset production solutions.

Masui added: "We hosted more than 300 VIP tours of the press over the course of the show. We're extremely pleased with the outcome in terms of actual sales and firm leads generated.

"The number of overseas visitors was also very encouraging, making it a truly international show for us. We do feel that Ipex 2010 came at the right time and right place, and look forward to an upbeat remainder to 2010."
