Konica will be showing its soon-to-be launched AccurioPress C2070 and will also be promoting the benefits of its partnership with MGI Digital Technology at the debut show that will be taking place at the Wasps Arena, Coventry, from 8-9 March 2017.
Konica Minolta market development manager Bernard Cassidy said: “At this show we will be engaging the visitors, demonstrating how as a business partner we can support them in assessing, justifying and implementing the necessary steps to enable their business to succeed in the short and long terms.
“PrintWeekLive! gives all visitors the chance to see the future direction of Konica Minolta and how we can work in partnership to build profitable and long-lasting relationships.”
The C2070 prints at speeds of up to 71ppm at 1,200dpi resolution on paper weights up to 350gsm. It has a banner tray taking up to 1,000 banner sheets of up to 750mm in width and can print envelopes at rated speed.
Along with the C2070, Konica will be discussing the merits of its AccurioJet KM-1 digital inkjet press.
The KM-1 was launched alongside Konica’s B1 inkjet KM-C at Drupa. It is a sheetfed duplex B2-format digital inkjet press, which uses UV-cured inks. It prints at up to 3,000sph on a maximum sheet size of 585x750mm.
The manufacturer will also be promoting the benefits of its partnership with MGI Digital Technology and showing MGI’s hot foil stamping and embossing equipment that has been added to Konica’s product line.
Cassidy added that the tie-up with MGI would give Konica a strong presence in the digital packaging market.
Konica will also be delivering a workshop at the show, led by its global user group Prokom, entitled ‘A five-point action plan to winning your first sales through social media’.
Cassidy said: “In today's economy, printers are continually expected to do more with less. Smaller teams with tighter budgets are being asked to deliver better, targeted results with quantifiable ROI. So how do you make a bigger impact with fewer resources and less time? The answer lies in taking the first steps into the world of social media.”
Last September, Konica teamed up with EFI to launch a new Fiery digital front-end for Konica’s bizhub Press 1052e and 1250e/P black and white digital printers.
