The kit manufacturer has opted for a more sober and sophisticated musical showcase, with Gary ‘Richard Clayderman’ Preston, an on-stand pianist, entertaining guests with classical and jazz compositions. The musician changes his outfit three times a day to suit the music he plays, a Chopin piece calls for a black outfit, while a jazz medley requires a more debonair white number.
However, it is not all hard work for Preston: He plays three times per day for an hour. After all his concentration and hard grind, he stopped at the massage stand (by stand 205) for some post musical de-stressing, said Sarah Crumpler, marketing communications executive for Konica Minolta. The musical entertainment can be enjoyed on stand 120, where Mozart’s Moonlight Sonata is one of many classics played. Whether a cover of Highway to Hell will feature later remains to be seen.

Konica Minolta has gone with a 'back to black' theme for this year's show, but those expecting a set from Amy Winehouse or rockers AC/DC may leave disappointed.
