Design firm lauds Dixon & Roe paper used in illustration-led calendar

Paper merchant Dixon & Roe's 9lives 55 Silk grade has been used to create London-based design agency Fonda's 2011 calendar.

It is the tenth calendar produced by the company and some 3,000 copies are being printed on a B2 press by Sterling Financial Print in Gillingham.

Fonda creative director Ian Pape said the company used 9lives 250gsm because it is "rare in being a quality coated environmental paper with a large proportion of recycled fibre".

He said: "It's a stock that gives real lift to the 12 beautiful illustrations that were donated by different artists represented by [commercial illustrators agency] NB Illustration."

Dixon & Roe is paper merchant PaperCo's London division.
