CirclePrinters appoints Coerman chief operating officer

European gravure print group CirclePrinters has appointed Maarten Coerman to its group management board as chief operating officer.

Coerman joins the Netherlands-headquartered Circleprinters from rival print group Roto Smeets, where he was a member of the executive board and managing director of the Dutch commercial print subsidiary Senefelder Misset.

In his role as chief operating officer, Coerman, who holds a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem, will be responsible for central purchasing, investments and operational improvement plans for the group.

Coerman, who has previously held various management positions at Graphics Microsystems and Quadtech Europe, took up his new role at Circleprinters on 9 January.
