Chetan Bhagat to deliver keynote at first Romancing Print conference in Delhi

Best-selling author Chetan Bhagat will deliver the keynote address at Romancing Print at The Park in New Delhi on 25 February 2011.

The one-day conference is being organised by The All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) in association with the print magazine, Press Ideas.

Chetan Bhagat has written Five Point Someone – What not to do at IIT!, One Night @ the Call Center, The 3 Mistakes of My Life and 2 States: The Story of My Marriage. Bhagat is also a motivational speaker, and has given talks in leading multinational corporations and institutions. Bhagat quit his international investment banking career in 2009, to devote his entire time to writing.

Bhagat will address more than 300 print delegates on 25 February.

Romancing Print will focus on the needs of print CEOs and their managers to open discussions about the latest opportunities and benefits in the graphics art industry.

Some of the highlights of the one day conference are:

Romancing the balance sheet by Anil Lamba; and romancing the green by Pranav Parikh of TechNova.

In addition there is an interactive session in which Parikh will romance with "3 Idiots" with three selected print firm CEOs and their managers.

The Romancing Project will also involve presentations from Xerox, Heidelberg and Kodak.

According to Manoj Mehta, president of the AIFMP, "Romancing Print is a broad project which will become an all-India activity by 2012 - and shall be hosted in key print cities."

Jacob George, director of Press Ideas stated: "The conference is attracting tremendous response from print firms in north India. Already 100 delegates have registered."
