Arjowiggins Graphic creates sustainability role

Arjowiggins Graphic has appointed Gilles Lhermitte to the company's newly created sustainable development manager role.

He previously worked at the paper manufacturer as a quality development manager, followed by a research and development manager.

In the new role, Lhermitte will be based in Paris, where he will advise on environmental, economic and social practices.

He will also be involved in developing the calculations to support Arjowiggins Graphics' environmental benefit statement, which provides figures about an equivalent reduction in landfill for any given job using recycled paper.

Jean-Charles Monange, branch strategic marketing and customer support director at Arjowiggins Graphic, said: "This is an important step forward in our long-term environmental business strategy and enables us to further develop our environmental expertise."
