Arjo Wiggins Carbonless Paper Operations Europe has launched its redesigned IDEM Superior sheets range in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Arjo has developed CB70 (coated back), CFB70 (coated front and back) and CF70 (coated front) to replace CB65, CFB65 and CF65.
The group claimed that the range offered increased grammage and stiffness, improved colour former blend and sheet clean-liness/formation.
"The IDEM brand is clearly our strongest brand in the market thats not just sales talk," said chief executive Jes Jarvis.
"We have to live in this world of carbonless, and we want to secure our long-term future and show that there are still opportunities out there," he said.
The redesign of the sheets follows an extensive research programme undertaken by Arjo Wiggins, which involved sending out questionnaires to 300 printers across Europe.
"Some of the significant benefits for sheet printers include improved runnability, improved opacity and fewer press adjustments between grades all at no extra cost," said marketing director Alison Kukla.
Arjo Wiggins has also introduced a mill reels stock service, which will make over 700 lines, or about 20,000 tonnes of stock, constantly available.
Delivery will be avail-able anywhere in the UK within a maximum of 48-72 hours and anywhere within Europe in a maximum of seven days.
