For labels and posters, the price rise will be 10%, effective from deliveries from 1 April.
Francis Tans, who heads up the company, said the paper industry had experienced a "strong and continuous" increase in pulp, energy and other raw material prices over the past few months.
"Despite the significant cost reductions and important changes within our organisation in the last year, the additional impact of the Chilean earthquake does oblige us to review our prices all over the world."
The Belgium-based business is the former carbonless paper division of Arjowiggins, which was sold in an MBO on 1 October last year.
IdemPapers is now completely independent and has two plants in Belgium. Its two core businesses are carbonless papers and technical papers.
