Its manufacturer said the machines were "ideally suited for transpromo applications that fuse classical transaction data with proactive marketing for direct mail". The 2200 model was launched at Drupa 2008 and features Océ's DigiDot drop-on-demand piezoelectric inkjet technology, which offers rich greyscales, contour-free gradients, good reproduction of fine details and lower drying temperatures. The machine runs at 150m per minute or 2,020 A4ppm in 2-up duplex at 600dpi. It can also be fitted with a fifth colour that can be used for MICR inks or spot colours. The series consists of the JetStream 750, 1500, 1100, 2200 and 3000.
