The easy-to-construct product provides print firms with a route into the art and box canvas market. Clients can email digital images that are then printed on to a sheet of canvas.

The end product is supplied to customers in a tube containing the printed canvas, printed cutter guides, bar lengths, corner pieces and clips, tension plates and fixing tape, which they construct themselves. The polypropylene frames range in length from 229mm to 5m.

Blanc Canvas owner and managing director Andrew Ainge, who also invented Metal FX, said: Previously only specialist framers could assemble a box canvas, but now anyone can put together a YouFrame system achieving quality that is on a par with the professional box canvas. YouFrame won Innovation of the Year at the National Business Awards 2008.
