"The Sanxin is a well-engineered piece of kit. We installed a two-colour YK522. It arguably doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of other presses but, then again, that’s not what we paid for. The general consensus of everyone here is that it will do what we want it to. We needed a machine that would ease the pressure on our five-colour Heidelberg Speedmaster, and that would handle multi-pass work in register. The Sanxin proves you can get great value for money if you are prepared to look with an open mind. In my opinion, Chinese-manufactured presses are in the same position as Japanese presses were when they first arrived in the UK. I believe it won’t be long before they are commonly found in pressrooms."
