The deal marks the first time that Watkiss has offered laminators among its range of in-house finishing products.
Watkiss communications director Jo Watkiss said the range had already generated a lot of interest and added that she had high expectations for the products.
The range includes the PrintLam Smart and SmartMatic 52cm sheet-to-sheet thermal laminators, suitable for both offset and digital print shops.
Both feature low maintenance oil-filled heating cylinders for better heat retention and consistent quality along with a de-curling system.
The Tauler range also includes the 52cm CTI and 75cm CTIS for high-volume, larger format applications.
Watkiss said: "Tauler has over 40 years of experience in laminating machines and we think the range matches our existing product portfolio.
"Tauler is the same as us in that it offers mid-market equipment at a good quality to price position."
The decision to add Tauler’s products would help the Bedfordshire company to provide customers with everything they need to complete their work, Watkiss claimed.
The laminating range will complement Watkiss’ recent appointment as a reseller of MOHR guillotines and join its production portfolio of collators, booklet makers and perfect binders.
