Veika marketing specialist Vadim Timofejev said Decojet wallcoverings have non-woven backing, while the hot-embossed surface “appears particularly sharp and realistic and is robust and scratch-resistant”.
He added pricing for the media range is “middle-level” and that customers using the media are predominantly wallcovering manufacturers who offer their clients small production batches with custom designs, printers that work with interior designers, and advertising agencies.
The wallcoverings are available in rolls of either 50m or 70m long and 1.07m or 1.3m wide. The minimum order is 1,000m2.
Veika is also showing its eco-solvent digital inks for wide-format print businesses printing on the Decojet digital wallpaper media.
The inks, which are specially developed for Epson DX4, DX5, DX6 and DX7 printheads, are fully compatible with Roland, Mimaki and Mutoh Eco inks by their chemical composition and colour palette.
They can be combined with OEM inks without additional washing steps and original profiles can be used.
“Fespa gives us the ability to show our new technologies,” said Timofejev.
He added the firm has also come to the show to look for new distributors for its products.
“At Fespa we have the possibility to find distributors from a very wide range of countries. We already have distributors with exclusive rights in several countries and now we are looking for bigger companies and stronger partners,” he said.
